Get help with using ZapCards, the smart flashcard app that helps you remember forever
ZapCards is designed to help you learn and remember information using scientifically-proven spaced repetition techniques. Here's how to get started:
Start by creating folders to organize your flashcards. You might create folders for different subjects, courses, or topics.
Within each folder, create flashcards with questions on the front and answers on the back. You can also add images or format text to help with memorization.
The app will schedule reviews at optimal intervals using the SuperMemo algorithm. Cards you find difficult will appear more frequently, while well-known cards will appear less often.
Visit the dashboard to see statistics about your learning progress, including retention rates and study streaks.
ZapCards uses the proven SuperMemo algorithm to schedule reviews at the optimal time for memory retention. When you review a card, you rate how well you knew the answer. Based on your rating, the app calculates the best time to show you that card again. Cards you find difficult will appear more frequently, while well-known cards will appear less often.
Yes! ZapCards uses iCloud sync (when available) to back up your data across all your Apple devices. This ensures that your flashcards and progress are always safe and accessible. If iCloud is not available, your data will be stored locally on your device.
Currently, ZapCards supports manual creation of flashcards. Import/export functionality may be added in future updates. Please contact us if this feature is important to you.
For the best results with ZapCards:
You can reset progress for individual folders by going to the folder details screen and selecting the reset option. This will reset the learning progress for all cards in that folder while keeping the cards intact.
If your data isn't syncing across devices:
If you experience slowdowns or crashes:
